The Brief: To update the living room and bedroom to create stylish, cohesive rooms with improved storage
The Project: initially a living room renovation project (including replacing the floor and ceiling), Michelle and Jeff then extended the work to improve their bedroom. They wanted to replace the furniture they had moved in with and, inspired by boutique hotels and Soho House, create a sympathetic, cohesive and calm atmosphere. Bespoke carpentry increased storage and organised the spaces better, giving a greater feeling of spaciousness in this beautiful cottage. In the bedroom, old furniture was replaced with a built in day bed, with ample storage, dramatically increasing the floor space. Lighting was rewired and fabrics were selected for the blinds, curtains and seating in both rooms, which helped complete the look.
The Review: Rebecca was really easy to work with. She understood the style we wanted for the room and helped us to refine our ideas. The process for obtaining the furniture and furnishings was made easy by Rebecca. She even helped us organise the tradespeople to do any work needed.
We love the finished product and are already thinking of new projects for her to help us with!
